STUDIO RULES

TIME

Please be on time for class. If you are unable to make it to class within the warm up song, we will give your designated bike to a stand-by rider.

PHONES

We want to encourage you to enter the studio distraction free, and leave your worries behind, including your phone, as you enter the class. If you are expecting an important call, or have a sick child and need to be on stand by, the front desk will be happy to hold your phone and notify you in class in case of an emergency.

STRETCH

If you need to leave the class early, no worries! We ask that you leave class right before the stretch portion of class. We will clean your equipment for you.

ENERGY

Cheer each other on in class! The more energy you give, the more you’ll receive. All the claps, cheers and exclamations are welcome in class.

ENCOURAGE

Most importantly, encourage one another. Give your neighbor a high-five, or welcome a new client to class. Respect each other’s fitness journeys, and spread the THREE15 love!

ADDITIONAL FAQs AND INFO

WHAT IS BEAT-BASED CYCLING?

Beat-based cycling is focused on striking the pedal of the bike to each beat of the music. You’ll hear the instructor cue when your right or left foot should be hitting the beat.

HOW DO I SET UP MY BIKE?

We will assist you with setting up your bike, and walk you through proper form. We will also show you the hand positions that your instructor will cue during class, as well as how to use your resistance knob.

DO I NEED TO START WITH A BEGINNER’S CLASS?

Any class can be modified to accommodate any client. If you’re wanting an introduction to the THREE15 method, and more thorough instruction, at a slower pace, we recommend starting with a THREE15: BASIC class.

I WANT TO BRING A FRIEND TO CLASS. CAN WE GET IN TO CLASS TOGETHER?

Try to book your class at the same time, as classes fill up quickly. We recommend arriving to class 15 minutes before hand, so you can select a bike next to each other. If you’re an out-of-town guest, e-mail us before hand, and we will do our best to get you into a class together, and on bikes next to each other.

HOW DO I BECOME A THREE15 INSTRUCTOR?

We train and develop each instructor through the THREE15 Training Method over the course of multiple weeks. We recommend clients take 30 classes or more before inquiring about becoming an instructor. Open auditions may also be held. For more information, please contact Catherine, our head of Training and Development, by emailing catherine@three15studio.com.

CAN I TAKE CLASSES WHILE I’M PREGNANT?

Yes! Each class can be modified to accommodate our expecting clients.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A “CLASS PASS” AND “AUTOPAY OR UNLIMITED?”

Class Passes come with a certain amount of classes that can be used at any time. Unlimited/ AutoPay allows you to take an unlimited amount of classes in that designated time frame. AutoPay allows you to book classes through the duration of your contract.

DO CYCLING SHOES REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Yes. To enhance your workout, we highly recommend wearing TIEM cycling shoes (available for purchase at the studio.) Clipping into the bike pedals allows for a more fluid and efficient work out during the cycling portion of class.

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO STAY UP TO DATE WITH THINGS HAPPENING AT THE STUDIO?

Follow us on Instagram. The Homewood studio (our main account) is @three15studio. Our Downtown location is @three15_birmingham.

IS THREE15 A FRANCHISE?

We currently have two studios located in Birmingham, Alabama. For more information about opening a THREE15 studio, please contact us at franchise@three15studio.com.
